On this site you'll find information about the organization, membership, the Wilson award, the annual conference, indexing, evaluating indexes, indexing software, and much more. The organization is working toward an online directory of indexers; meanwhile, you can obtain a hard copy by emailing the society's headquarters (info@asindexing.org)

- Information Today, Inc.: The Indexing Specialties books are available through ITI, as are other information science books.
- Organization of American Historians: The OAH is one of the leading organizations for historians in the United States. Its journal publishes an astounding number of book reviews, some of which even mention indexes, in each issue.
